These are all some things you may hear in one of our strength building classes at IBX Fitness. The point of this is, if you engage your pelvis, you’ll also be engaging your core. Keeping your core engaged is important for building core strength, stabilization, and preventing lower back injury!

At IBX Fitness, we care about keeping you safe during your workouts, so that you’re aware in real life and avoiding injury in your day to day lifts, such as- carrying groceries, putting your luggage in the overhead bin, or even just carrying your children.

Your pelvis plays an important role, no matter what movements your isolating- no matter if its an upper body, lower body, full body, OR core day. It’s something we are always paying attention to, as it’s essential to have that stability for compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and overhead presses, leading to better performance and power- things we’re all about at IBX.

At IBX, we’re not just focused on how you look externally- we also care about how you’re building strength internally or rebuilding whether due to a pre-existing injury, or even the post-partum feels. We’ve partnered with a Pelvic Physical Therapist from Libra Pelvic Physical Therapy, so we are always learning new ways to support your pelvic health from an expert, and hosting events & workshops at IBX Fitness for you to learn better ways to improve your pelvic health.
